Pivoting your online business: Step 3 - Creating a content framework that doesn't restrict your creativity

March has been such a fun month for me and my community of Risers because we're really diving into the nitty gritty if who we are, why we're here and how we want to let people experience that.

Because yes, we have businesses and we want to serve, but we want it to be on our terms and feel right for us first!

So this weeks live workshop was all about creating a content framework for that, as well as setting ourselves up to make sure we're thriving in our right environments.

Did you know that not everyone wants or even needs structure? That actually, for some of us, sitting in the same chair, in the same office every day is actually killing your creativity more than anything else? Even if you're doing work you love?

You can find yours in this blog post I did to cover all of this.

For the point of this article though it's about our content framework.

Whether you're more structured or flowy in your approach, having a framework is what will hold you together and keep you moving in the direction you set for yourself. The arrows in my own design are all very flowy, switching things up, not sticking to set routines every day - but the one that tells me how I take in information best is all about a framework so I can really get to grips with what I'm trying to achieve.

I look at it like the one part of my design that keeps my feet on the ground when my head is in the clouds!

In our live workshop in Rise today we covered this framework and how you can take your one focus / theme / idea, and turn it into 40 pieces of content. This means you're not sitting there week on week wondering what you're going to post, or how you're going to say it.

It takes away that overwhelm that so often stops a lot of us in our tracks before we can even get anything out there.

If you look back over the other blogs (and emails if you're a subscriber) you've had from me this month, they've all followed that framework.

I'm seen to be doing the most across most platforms, but really it's from the bare minimum due to this framework.

I spoke about this framework in my IG live, so catch up on that & (get your card pull in that video too) if you're ready to start simplifying things like my Riser Leanne:

“This framework when I first saw it was like, oh my god. This is what I've been trying to get to for so long and it's literally there and so easy to breakdown in front of me”

We've covered this and lots more in Rise this month. I'd love to have you if you feel like you're finally ready to start communicating who you are, what makes you so unique and put that into a framework that works for your design and business.
